Les vidéos exposées aux trois étages du cabinet forme une installation. On découvre un randonneur peinant en portant un rocher au fond de la forêt de Fontainebleau. César Kaci crée une fable absurde parodiant mythes, aventures épiques et nature romantique. Il nous rappelle le célèbre mythe de Sisyphe qui remplit une tâche interminable et ardue et décide de vivre son châtiment en toute conscience.
Ce périple effectué par un personnage aux allures d’Obélix ou de Sisyphe illustre une ascension entre les étages du cabinet. Au sein des bureaux parisiens, la nature artificielle est renvoyée à sa fonction décorative, dominée de peinture sur les murs. L’énorme rocher en plastique rend évidente et ridicule cette artificialité.
"L'oeuvre rappelle les mythes qui conditionnent notre appréciation de la nature", explique l'artiste.

César Kaci creates an absurd fable parodying myths, epic adventures and romantic nature. He reminds us of the famous myth of Sisyphus, who completes an interminable, arduous task and decides to live out his punishment with a clear conscience.
The journey taken by this Obelix-like or Sisyphus-like character illustrates an ascent through the floors of the firm. In the Paris offices, artificial nature is relegated to a decorative role, dominated by the paint on the walls. The huge plastic boulder makes this artificiality obvious and ridiculous.
“The work recalls the myths that condition our appreciation of nature”, explains the artist.
