L'artiste propose trois saynètes burlesques et colorées exposées aux trois étages de réception du cabinet. Anna Giner apparaît sous les traits d'une coiffeuse puis d'une marquise et d'une magicienne. Travaillés comme des "tableaux vivants", ces minis spectacles intitulés "Séchage", "La Marquise" et "Le Tour du Lapin", sont mis en scène à l'aide de collages vidéo sur un fond vert.
Anna Giner, à coups d’illusions et de trucages visuels, interroge la figure de l’artiste. Elle en fait, dans ces trois vidéos autoportraits, un personnage clownesque et divertissant, protagoniste d’images publicitaires. De cette façon, l’artiste tourne en dérision un désir de perfection à la fois intime et universel, et réenchante les images de soi.
The artist presents three burlesque and colorful playlets on the three reception floors of the cabinet. Anna Giner appears as a hairdresser, then as a marquise and a magician. Worked like “tableaux vivants”, these mini-shows entitled “Séchage”, “La Marquise” and “Le Tour du Lapin” are staged using video collages on a green background.
Using illusions and visual tricks, Anna Giner questions the figure of the artist. In these three self-portrait videos, she turns the artist into a clownish, entertaining character, the protagonist of advertising images. In this way, the artist mocks a desire for perfection that is both intimate and universal, and re-enchants images of the self.
