In this article, we focus on the diploma of Fabien Conti, a 5th-year student at Atelier Djamel Tatah:

In my paintings, I focus precisely on exploring images of what might be considered the natural disasters of our time: forest fires, melting glaciers, polluted waters, volcanic eruptions, storms and so on. In all these images, however, I recognize the sublime, poetic quality of disaster, a certain formal beauty that accompanies destruction. Through color and texture, I try to evoke the sensation of landscape, and place us as spectators before the abyss of our own extinction.
