Courses are taught in French at Beaux-Arts de Paris, so a good knowledge of French is required to apply.
DEGREE-SEEKING STUDENTS
International students wishing to join Beaux-Arts de Paris as degree-seeking students, either in first year or during the course of studies, are invited to consult the page about admission and to contact admission@beauxartsparis.fr
EXCHANGE STUDENTS
International students from partner institutions of Beaux-Arts de Paris can apply to do a study exchange at the School during one semester. Exchange students are integrated in the regular courses offered at the school and must follow a program equivalent to 30ECTS including: a studio practice, a technical workshop, a theory course or second technical workshop, and take part in a French as a foreign language class.
The specificity of the teaching at Beaux-Arts de Paris, centered around the notion of studio (“atelier”), compels exchange students to choose a studio to develop their own artistic practice. It is very important that students identify beforehand the studio they want to join, according to their artistic goals and by looking at the different studio professors and their medium.
Furthermore, it is essential to have some notions of French, as classes are taught in French.
In compliance with the agreements signed with partner institutions, applicants to a study exchange at Beaux-Arts de Paris are preselected and nominated by their home institution. They must file an application online and send an artistic portfolio, as well as a motivation letter stating which studio(s) they wish to be a part of.
Important dates :
- Nomination deadline : May 15
- Application deadline : June 1st
