VIA FERRATA is an integrated preparatory class at the Beaux-Arts de Paris since 2016.

This public preparatory class prepares 50 students from socially, geographically and culturally diverse backgrounds for the exams and entrance examinations to higher art schools (95% success rate).

VIA FERRATA offers practical and theoretical training, and personalized pedagogical support.

From September to June, with 35 hours of weekly classes, this demanding training immerses students in a dense artistic environment, designed to allow them to discover art, its practice and its history. They are invited to refine their study projects, their motivations, their research and artistic approaches, and to acquire the means to put them into practice by experimenting with a wide range of fields and techniques.

The teaching, led by a team of professors dedicated to the program, includes creative classes and artistic reflections in the preparatory class workshops located on the two sites of the school (Paris/Saint-Ouen) as well as theoretical and practical lectures (amphitheaters on the Paris site).

Numerous cultural visits are offered to museums, galleries, art centers, artists' studios and production sites.

In addition to the lectures, most of the interactions with the students are individualized, specific, and adapted to the students' desires and problems.
