Publication of Fructifications by Roberto Cabot

Published by Beaux-Arts de Paris éditions, this book presents the latest series of paintings, Fructifications, by the Franco-Brazilian artist Roberto Cabot.

A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Roberto Cabot uses painting to explore the concept of the Sublime and our relationship with a rapidly changing biosphere, as well as the various ways of moving beyond the 'naturalist' model that dominates our globalised society.

The critics Nicolas Bourriaud and Wilfried Dickhoff each devote an essay to this body of work, but also take a look at the history of Roberto Cabot's work, from its beginnings to the present day, and its fundamental place in his time and in the history of art.
