HELL NO* meeting with the artist Tarek Lakhrissi in the presence of Madeleine Planeix-Crocker and Fabrice Bourlez, coordinators of the Troubles, Dissidences and Aesthetics chair.
Tarek Lakhrissi is a French artist and poet with a background in literature. His literary background is nourished by influences from feminist and queer authors, such as Elsa Dorlin, Jean Genet, Monique Wittig and José Esteban Muñoz, giving his work a critical atmosphere. Each project Lakhrissi initiates derives from text, poetry and language, which are his main obsessions, before translating the ideas of these mediums into the visual arts.
Tarek Lakhrissi also teaches in the Master in Visual Arts program at the CCC de la Head in Geneva.
