The 7th Dior Photography Prize has been awarded to Chia Huang, a 4th year student at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Jouve and Cogitore workshops, for her moving series on autism Silence Is Speaking, which combines documentary photography and amateur painting. The work of the 2024 winner will be exhibited alongside that of the twelve other artists at La Lampisterie from 1 July to 29 September 2024.

Created in 2018 by Christian Dior Parfums, in partnership with LUMA Arles and the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP), the Dior Photography and Visual Arts Prize for Young Talent is an international competition for students and recent graduates of the leading art and photography schools.

Invited to respond to the theme of "Face-to-face", the exhibition presents the work of thirteen artists selected by a Jury chaired this year by French photographer Brigitte Lacombe, and comprising Marina Hoffmann, Julie Jones (curator at the Cabinet de la photographie of the Musée national d'art moderne - Centre Pompidou), Laurent Montaron (French multidisciplinary artist), Simon Baker (director of the Maison européenne de la photographie) and Peter Philips (creative and image director of Dior make-up).
